Under supervision of Karna Dura the relief team has left in two cars on May 20 to Sindhuli. The team consists of 13 members, including 2 nurses from the Bir hospital and 2 drivers. Two additional healthworkers will join the team later. The road conditions on the way to Sindhuli are far better than the dirt road conditions which the teams encounter during the relief camps before.
Part of SAR DOG NEPAL's team.
First they drove to Narayangar to buy 680 tarpaulins and medicines. Especially children and old people are suffering from diarrhoea and cold. When they arrived in Sindhuli on May 21, they were stopped by the region's CDO who wanted to confiscate all the goods to distribute in the region himself. After some discussion they were allowed to pass with all goods still in possession.
