Laxmon was recruited as Technical Assistant into HRDSN in April 1992. His place of birth is Kumroj, Ward No.8 in Chitwan. He is 33 years old and married with Jallu Mahato. They have a baby daughter of 7 months old.

By profession he is a plumber and a welder. His technical skills made him a SAR Training Gadgets and Equipment designer and Overseer shortly after he was recruited into HRDSN Staff. His pleasant character and love for animals motivated him to train a SAR Dog himself. This made him more or less the eldest student at our Academy. His training partner is the German Shepherd Aldo who has been donated by the German Society Rescue Dogs for Nepal ® (Rettungshunde für Nepal e.V.)
