Laxmon Chaudhari; in charge of an adult dog and a promising puppy

laxmon chaudhari is in charge
The "shiny black" one year old mixed breed Uttam and the two and half years old German Shepherd Aldo
have been friends ever since Uttam was born inside our training facility.
Uttam was an "accident" of sorts
because one of our 2 retired German Shepherd females, who is almost 11 years old, turned hot un-noticed
by her caretaker during  festival season in Nepal when everyone was on holidays.

It is believed that the male culprit who sneaked into the retirement home of our oldies was Mister Dunston,
our smart and swiftSpringer Spaniel.
Uttam and Aldo share a common interest. Both are excellent air scenting dogs and tracking
down people who are "lost" is their favorite daily game.
Junior Squad Leader Laxmon loves them both very much and they love him too.
Laxmon and Aldo have passed their mission readiness test in November
2010 under supervision of German examiner Daniela Neika.

Our smartest? Our clown? Alpha dog? Meet Dunston the "Rückverweiser"

dunston meets

Words can not describe him.
Nepalese who watch him strongly believe that he was
either a monkey or
a circus clown in a former life.
To be trained as a recalling dog (Rückverweiser) one uses a dog that does not bark or

not wish to bark? Dunston; who are you?
Taking up a scent from a "missing person" and finding the " victim" in a flash
keeps every handler
unable to follow him that fast. Dunston sniffs out the location of the lost person and then
returns to his handler. He
has to jump and place his front paws against the handlers chest  to tell him where to go
by leading him on a leash.
The question remains then who is leading or holding the leash here?
Obviously this smart dog let's out his master

Super Nose:  man-trailers need Road Runners as handlers!

hunter

Chestnut colored male German short hair pointer HUNTER arrived in October 2009 all the way from Oregon.
He accompanied Lynn Martin
as a 9 months old puppy. Speciality : NOSE DOWN to the ground and run...run...run.
If you take such a dog for a walk without
training it may only· come back after any time between a few hours or a few days.
If he is lucky he has not been hurt during his dash
into the wild.
Using this type of dog as a man-trailer, it has to be held on a long leash and his handler has to be in very good shape.

The only way the fast dog can be used for trailing a person is to run behind him without spraining an ankle.
Hunter performs more
than that.
He has developed very good discipline and is also able to follow other training courses like climbing ladders, walking on
moving
objects and loose rubble without fear . Do not miss watching our video collection at our home page.
Suk Bahadur Lama and Hunter passed their mission readiness test in November 2010.
